In 2007, the opening sequence of The Dark Knight was shown with I Am Legend in IMAX theatres. Now, according to /Film, an eight minute prologue of The Dark Knight Rises will be shown with IMAX presentations of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol:
A trusted theater (read: exhibitor) source has just exclusively alerted /Film that Warner Bros. plans to attach an eight minute prologue to The Dark Knight Rises to all IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is released 26 December. Directed by Brad Bird (The Simpsons, Ratatouille), it stars Tom Cruise (Valkyrie, Knight & Day), Simon Pegg (Star Trek, Paul), Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Avengers), Paula Patton (Hitch, Mirrors), Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Dawn of the Dead), Josh Holloway (Lost, Whisper), and Tom Wilkinson, who played Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins.
