Dear Property Owners, Merchants and Residents: July 1, 2011

This summer Warner Brothers will be filming scenes for the upcoming motion picture “Magnus Rex” in your neighborhood. We are excited to be filming in Pittsburgh and are proud to have the support of Mayor Ravestahl and his staff. The Streets of downtown Pittsburgh are the start of our film and we will be utilizing them as filming locations for two weeks in august.

Our downtown filming takes place from Wednesday August 10th through Saturday August 20th, Wednesdays through Sundays only. The full details of our filming activity, including road closure points, parking restriction, and special effects are summarized on the accompanying pages of this letter. We will also be advertising our presence and the nature of the activity by means of signage posted in the area as well as bulletins in the local media.

In the coming weeks we will be visiting all of the businesses and entity in the area effected but our proposed activity in order to ascertain the best way of minimizing are impact. We are also working with building managers in the area to facilitate tenant access to properties. Our goal is to make this a positive experience for everyone involved and we would like to address your individual concerns, no matter how small. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions at our cell phone numbers listed below.

Throughout our preparation, filming and restoration periods, Security guards, Pittsburgh Police Officers and production assistants will be visible during our film shoot to insure public safety as well as address any immediate concerns you may have about the filming.

We are coordinating our production with the Pittsburgh Film Office, the Special Events Department and the Department of Public Works to obtain the appropriate permits. If things change as they sometimes do with film production, you will be notified of any new or revised dates and/ or activities.

We understand that we are guests in your city and will conduct ourselves accordingly. Thank you for hosting us in Pittsburgh; we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
