One year from today, the journey that began on June 15, 2005 with the release of Batman Begins will end. On July 20, 2012, Christopher Nolan will bring his Batman trilogy to a close with The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan wrote the film with his brother Jonathan and longtime collaborator David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Nolan, his wife Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven. It stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox.
