Here are some videos from the set of The Dark Knight Rises. The first features three Tumblers driving through the streets:
The second shows a large group of extras playing prisoners being led to the set:
In the third, an explosion takes place:
Finally, Tom Hardy (as Bane) is seen standing atop a Tumbler:
Here is an image of Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Miranda Tate and John Blake respectively:
Below are images of Christian Bale and a number of men playing prisoners at Carnegie Mellon Institute:
In these images, we see Bane's full costume. It consists of his mask, a military vest, cargo pants and a leather trench coat:
Notice the piece of paper that Bane is ripping up in the last picture. It is in fact a photograph of the late District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). What does this mean? Does Bane know about the crimes Harvey commited as Two-Face? Is he aware of the cover-up by Gordon and Batman?
Blackgate Prison has also been made in Harvey's memory:

Oldman, Cotillard set photos and report
Below is a report from Laura Rosenthal of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
Thanks to the movie magic employed by the makers of the Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises," one block in Lawrenceville was immune from the heat, humidity and intermittent showers that fell Friday afternoon.
On 41st Street between Butler and Foster streets, director Christopher Nolan was on-site to oversee the film's first day of shooting in Pittsburgh. Under his watchful eye, dozens of cargo-short clad staffers converted picturesque row house No. 170 into the home of a Gotham City judge, played by Brett Cullen.
Piles of fake snow dotted the sidewalks, and black canvas drapes and heavy-duty screens blotted out the sun to create a dreary winter backdrop. Wind and dust machines were on hand to create a storm, even though Pittsburgh skies threatened their own as the afternoon wore on.
Gary Oldman's police Commissioner Jim Gordon ran up the house's steps in take after take to alert the judge to dirty dealings and increasing violence in Gotham.
Well-meaning Wayne Enterprises board member Miranda Tate, played by Marion Cotillard, came to the judge's house in a scene with Commissioner Gordon and Detective John Blake, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Ms. Cotillard braved the heat in leather boots and a navy wool peacoat, which she quickly shed at the end of the take, while Mr. Gordon-Levitt was lucky enough to film in shirtsleeves.
At either end of the 41st Street set, city police guarded barricades and kept spectators from edging onto the set. Timothy Kust was as close to the action as a Pittsburgher could get: His house, No. 172, sits next door to the home featured in Friday's scenes. He was home throughout the day, even as crews stored tall lights in front of his front door and leaned stacks of light filters against the facade.
From his vantage point, the shoot was far from exciting.
"Let's just say, it's been an experience," he said, declining to elaborate.
Tom Cox, who lives on 42nd Street, said the first indication that Batman would film in his neighborhood came when a fleet of "white trucks" began gathering in a parking lot across the street from the Catalyst Building at the corner of 41st and ripped a fence out of the lot to make space for trailers and trucks.
Though Mr. Cox expected crews to close Foster Street, where he and his dog, Belle, went Friday afternoon to get a peek at the set, he said he was surprised they managed to keep the street open and avoid causing parking jams in the neighborhood.
"I thought maybe a lot of people would be parking on our street, which fills up really fast, but that doesn't seem to be happening," Mr. Cox said. "They're managing it well."
Between President Barack Obama's visit to the neighborhood in June and the Batman shoot, Lawrenceville has seen a great deal of excitement this summer, as 44th Street denizen Mary Hartley pointed out.
Ms. Hartley brought her son and daughter to the set after lunch at Wendy's on Butler Street, and 11-year-old Jack was quick to notice the customized yellow cabs waiting at the end of 41st. They had the word "Gotham" emblazoned on their doors, as well as special license plates tailored to the movie.
Grace, 7, said she appreciated how the crew members "were trying to work together."
Despite the maturity of her remark, Grace's mother said she doubts the then-8-year-old will be allowed to see "The Dark Knight Rises" when it hits theaters in July 2012.
Beyond the barricades, business continued as usual on the Butler Street thoroughfare. Demetria, an employee at Citizens Bank, was handing out flyers to passers-by for a bank promotion.
While the street is usually "pretty dead" during most of her canvassing assignments, Demetria said she noticed an increased amount of traffic in the neighborhood -- and it all seemed to be for Batman.
For her part, Demetria intended to visit the set on break in hopes of seeing one cast member in particular.
"Christian Bale isn't going to be here, is he? He's not coming at all?" she asked.

Pittsburgh welcomes The Dark Knight Rises
This light was erected in Pittsburgh to welcome the cast and crew of The Dark Knight Rises, who recently began shooting there:
Dr. Kenneth R. Melani, president and CEO of Highmark Inc., said: "To have our building featured is an honor not only because it is an anchor of the Pittsburgh skyline, but also because we are positioned at the gateway to the city's Cultural District and nothing could be more of a cultural attraction than a Hollywood film."
Mike Matesic, CEO of Idea Foundry, said his company "is delighted only only to see major motion pictures like 'Batman' choose to film in Pittsburgh, but also to help them take advantage of all the other benefits our region's technology companies have to offer.
"What we're seeing with Lightwave is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how our local tech companies can help filmmakers produce, market, and generate new revenue streams for their movies and TV productions."

Tom Hardy compares shooting to working at Starbucks
Tom Hardy, who is playing the villainous Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, has talked about shooting the film.
"These movies are huge vehicles to make a lot of money… and make a large audience happy.
So now you’re at the very top level of trying to bring character work in a boutique way to something that is, you know, Starbucks.
You deal with something Dark Knight – or Mad Max, or Superman or Spider-Man, whatever – it’s like going to work in an airport and going, "Hi I’m over here!" and then everybody goes "Oh here’s that... villain of the piece".
Then it’s a thousand people going to Duty-Free. Like, [he shouts] "I am the villain!" and make a lot of noise. There’s a formula here, you can’t muck around with it.
There’s a lot of rules, you’re restrained in many ways as an artist,
but then you’re also grateful because of the huge exposure and the paycheck.
Or the not-paycheck ‘cause they’re making you a star. Whatever it is, you’re paying an entrance to getting higher exposure."

Scene involving Siberian Prisoner of War Camp
"Simply Recycling Solutions Ltd in Mile Road, Bedford, has produced the used material for a scene involving a Siberian Prisoner of War camp for Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.
The scrap company which has sites in Bedford, Luton and Northampton was contacted after a member of the movie’s production team drove past their business and dropped in for props.
Owner Jon O’Brien, 41, said: “One of the guys from the film drove past saw our sign and came in and asked for scrap to help build a part of their set.
“It’s going to be good to see my scrap on the silver screen when it’s all done.”"
It is unknown how this scene will fit into the film. Possibilities include the shot of Bruce (Christian Bale) doing push-ups in the trailer, the prison break scene filmed at Carnegie Mellon University, or Ra's al-Ghul (Liam Neeson/Josh Pence).

Who is that?
At the end of the teaser for The Dark Knight Rises, a visibly exhausted Batman (Christian Bale) attempts to stand his ground against Bane (Tom Hardy). However, a person can be seen in the background behind Batman, and they appear to be pointing a gun. But which of the two combatants are they pointing it at? Furthermore, who is this mysterious figure? The distance makes it hard to determine their gender, but theories so far have included Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Some even believe that it may be Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard), who is rumoured to secretly be Talia al-Ghul, daughter of Ra's al-Ghul (Liam Neeson). Any thoughts?
Filming halfway completed
Michael Caine recently talked about The Dark Knight Rises.
He has supported Christopher Nolan's claims that this will be his last Batman film, also hinting at the planned reboot: "I think it will be the last Batman that Chris Nolan will make. I never say the last time for me for anything."
He also talked about Nolan's notorious secrecy: "When I got on the set Chris Nolan said, 'You told someone you're doing Batman!' I said, 'Jesus, how secretive can we be?'"
Finally, he revealed that filming is halfway completed: "I can tell you we're halfway through it. We finished in England, my next lot [of filming] is in America. And it'll be great."
Just one more year...
One year from today, the journey that began on June 15, 2005 with the release of Batman Begins will end. On July 20, 2012, Christopher Nolan will bring his Batman trilogy to a close with The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan wrote the film with his brother Jonathan and longtime collaborator David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Nolan, his wife Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven. It stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox.

Heinz field to feature
Teaser leaks online
The teaser for The Dark Knight Rises has leaked online. Only a low-quality version is available right now.
Here is a description:
Trailer opens with studio logos set on top of the blue flame from Dark Knight.
Start panning up some buildings, but to screen card. EVERY HERO HAS A JOURNEY.
Cuts to a shot from Begins with Bruce walking up to that Village when he’s looking for Ra’s
Screen Card: EVERY HERO HAS AN END
Ra’s voice over: If you make yourself more than just a man. If you devout yourself to be ideal. And you become something else entirely. A legend Mr. Wayne….A LEGEND!
Screen Card: THE EPIC CONCLUSION
Cut to Gordon in a hospital bed laying on his side. Looks to be in serious pain. Has A breathing mask on. Is talking to someone.
Gordon: We were in this together, then you were gone…….Now this Evil rises. The Batman…..HAS to come back.(all this is said in a very raspy voice, in much pain)
Bruce/Batman(its not shown who he’s talking to, so don’t know in which form Bruce is visiting him in. My guess would be as Bruce Wayne) : What if he doesn’t exist anymore?
This part is the hardest to understand in the entire trailer, I listened to it at least 10 times but the score is over powering here and Gordon is having trouble talking. It sounds like if says Humor me while trying to laugh. I might be wrong here, full disclosure.
During this quick talk we’re shown a shot of the bat cycle when it drives up the ramp from Dark Knight, Gordon destroying the [Bat] Signal all cut in with the Hospital. As well as super fast flashes of Bane’s face.
Pan up crumbling buildings to reveal the teaser poster, the camera zooms to the white opening and on an all white screen the title appears. The score reaches a fever pitch before turning over to The chanting from the website.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Fades to black and then we see Batman backing away from something, then Bane enters from the left side of the screen. Very quick shot then the trailers done.

Building set photos
Laura Cornelius joins cast
British actress Laura Cornelius will feature as an extra in The Dark Knight Rises. She recently did some extensive tweeting about her role:
Laura described her role as "a kidnapped upper east side hostage awake for a few weeks". She filmed a scene which also featured Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard. She said that she is not saved by Batman and that fans should keep an eye out for her huddled on the floor looking sad. She had nothing but praise for Freeman, calling him a "legend" and describing him as being very chatty with the crew. Due to the secrecy involved, there were no phones allowed onset, as Bale and Christopher Nolan together are "scarier than The Krays." She also told Bale to stop bothering her as she got into her psyche, and said he may have had a go at some crew members.

Hardy, Aboutboul set photos, new character rumour
New set photos from The Dark Knight Rises have been posted on the Facebook page of Bilal Bhatti. One of the stars he saw was Tom Hardy, who is playing Bane:
He also got a picture of Alon Aboutboul, whose character's name is unknown so far, though he's known to be a "mad scientist":
Bilal also photographed a woman who appears to be Marion Cotillard, who is playing Miranda Tate. However, this is difficult to confirm, since he face is not shown in the photo:
There were also photos of what appears to be a military scene:
Finally, he took a photo of a dressing room door. This has lead to some rumours:
The name "Daggett" is believed to refer to the character Roland Daggett. More information on him can be found here:
"Roland Daggett is a fictional character and an adversary of Batman. He made his debut in Batman: The Animated Series as a corrupt and powerful businessman, voiced by Golden Globe-winner Edward Asner. The president of Daggett Industries, a pharmaceutical company, he is depicted as being a large, physically imposing man with smoothed back reddish-brown hair and blue eyes.
Daggett Industries develops "Renuyu", a face cream which enables the user to modify their face to their desire, and which Daggett is secretly going to sell through direct marketing since it will be rejected by stores for its addictive qualities. The only man addicted to the compound is Matt Hagen, an actor who was disfigured in a car accident and who committs crimes (in disguise) for Daggett in return for supplies of the formula after Daggett approached him at the burn clinic stating that Renuyu is much easier compared to years of plastic surgery."
The effects of the Renuyu face cream seem too far fetched to fit into the realistic tone of Nolan's Batman films, but it is unknown what changes will be made to Daggett in the film.

Hans Zimmer talks score
Hans Zimmer, who wrote the score for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and will return for The Dark Knight Rises, has spoken about his plans for the film.
Zimmer, who also scored Christopher Nolan's Inception, said: "Chris and I do work really well together. He is my guardian angel when it comes to my music. He protects it tremendously and makes sure it gets heard."
In the sleeve notes of the Inception soundtrack, Nolan wrote that Zimmer "never lets practical realities limit his belief in the power of ideas". Zimmer comments: "Reality is so overrated! If you have an idea and you are surrounded by talented people - which I am - you can usually pull it off. And if you can't pull it off, we have a rule at my studio, which is execute plan B flawlessly."
Zimmer spoke about the influences and technique he will use on the third Batman film: "I've been listening to a lot of Verdi lately, and Alison Goldfrapp, and a lot of electronica as I'm heading into Dark Knight territory again. I've been in the studio trying out ideas. I'm embarrassingly far advanced. I sent Chris some stuff the other day and he thought it was really unusual that I wasn't holding the whole thing up.
Of course I'll try to make it different, but I'm not going to abandon the musical language of the previous film. It's a matter of knocking down some walls and making it broader, wider and more epic."
Stuntman crashes through roof onset
Yesterday, a stunt went wrong on the set of The Dark Knight Rises. At the Cairngorm Gliding Club in Scotland, a parachutist crashed through the roof of a holiday home at the Lagganlia Outdoor Activity Centre in Kingussie, Inverness-shire.
Professional photographer Pavel Satny witnessed the incident and helped the stuntman with a ladder before a paramedic arrived. He later said: "He dropped like a stone, but he didn't seem to be in much danger. He just couldn't control his parachute. It was incredible. I'm amazed he survived... He was so, so lucky. He could have easily died."

Hathaway joins Gordon-Levitt onstage in London
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will be playing John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises, hosted his hitRECord event in London yesterday. He was joined onstage by Anne Hathaway, who will play Selina Kyle A.K.A. Catwoman in the film.
The pair reminisced about their first time together on 2005's Havoc. Anne then recited Shakespeare's Mark Anthony speech and Shadow Caste - A Prologue by Flock of Words. Joe laughed at her flawless recital, and accused her of flirting with him.
Joe also played a piano cover of Oasis' "Don't Look Back in Anger":
Attack helicopters in style of Tumbler?
London Boom Operator Freddie Z. Roche recently tweeted: "The Dark Knight Rises Inside Info, they are Building 2 Attack Helicopters in the same design as the Bat Mobile from The Dark Knight! BOOM"
The Bat Mobile he is referring to is the Tumbler, seen in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. However, it was destroyed in the latter film when it received extensive damage while Batman (Christian Bale) was trying to prevent The Joker (Heath Ledger) from capturing Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).
Skydiving scenes shooting in Scotland
Several skydiving scenes for The Dark Knight Rises are being shot at the Cairngorm Gliding Club in Feshie, Scotland. According to a recent article:
"Parachutists dressed in black and using a private jet painted black have been in action at Cairngorm Gliding Club's site at Feshie Bridge.
The club declined to comment, but sources have told BBC News Scotland online that the filming is for Batman.
A former US military C130 Hercules transport aircraft linked to The Dark Knight Rises has also been making flights from Inverness Airport.
Feshie Bridge was reported as the location for filming earlier this month by Gavin Musgrove, editor of the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.
It was not known if this week's activity at the gliding club was for scenes in the film, or preparation work ahead of proper filming."

Michael Caine one of four people who know film's ending
Michael Caine recently spoke to Irish news station RTE about The Dark Knight Rises, revealing that he is one of only four people who knows how the film will end: "I've read the new Batman script. Chris is the most secretive person.
"He said to me, 'You're one of only four people who have the end.' I daren't say a word about it or else I'll get fired."
Caine will once again play Alfred Pennyworth, butler of Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale). Alfred also acts as a father figure to Bruce, and aids him in his fight against Gotham's criminals as Batman.
Tom Hardy talks rumours and secrecy
Tom Hardy, who will be playing the villain Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, briefly discussed the film with French website AlloCiné while promoting his new film Warrior. In Warrior, Hardy plays Tom Conlon, who reconnects with his father Paddy (Nick Nolte), a former boxer whose alcoholism has torn his family apart. Paddy trains Tom to compete in a mixed martial arts tournament, where he eventually faces his older brother Brendan (Joel Edgerton).
Hardy said about The Dark Knight Rises: "I'm a bit naughty actually, I like to look at everything! Even though people say not to read everything, I like to read everything, so I'm aware of what's going on."
"I know less about the project while filming with that man because Chris Nolan doesn't tell you anything, so I don't know who I'm playing, what I'm doing, until the morning that I'm working!"
"Everything is subject to change with Chris Nolan, but on the whole, I know which information is true and false."
